The New Age Of Ghanaian Men’s Fashion Designers Who Are Shaping The Future Of Fashion In Ghana

Its an exciting time for men’s fashion especially here in Ghana over the years a lot of attention has gone to how men look generally, whether you are the African style believer or the more trendy modern style 90’s flirty shirt and a pair of jeans or shorts finishing your look with a sneakers or loafers Ghanaian fashion designers have really grown with their finished products which men are stylishly flaunting it gracefully at various functions, Now in Vogue is the famous “AGBADA” style inspiration and cuts that are in asymmetrical shapes. Here are some  notable fashion designers who are championing the new era in fashion for men and we would like to acknowledge the influence of designers Elikem Kumordzie, Brommon, Chocolate Ghana, Abrantie The Gentleman, Kustom Looks By Kwabs and a host of others who have paved the way for emerging designers who are honing and putting their skills to good use, we can only expect more in the near future


Shaibu Abdullah of BUSHAI WEAVE is a regular known name in the fashion industry here in Ghana and over the years we have seen his style and works metaphors from  fusing western style with African fabrics to going completely African or gGhanaian with fashion wax brand Vlisco to present different collections from his different runway shows to his lookbook every man can find themselves wearing the Bushai Weave to any function that best suits their style and personality.
and most recently the Bushai Brand released its 2019 Spring Summer Collection dubbed “BLACKINMEN” which was shot by renowned fashion photographer Asephua of Vine Imagery

Samuel Agyeman established the  Tiag Couture brand 3 years ago and ever since he has stamped his name and brand in the minds of fashion conscious men who really understand that fashion is about showing your personal style and he actually brings to life every designs, his style are usually more daring and comes with an androgynous approach with lots of colors and attention to pattern. coming from the heels of winning Designer Of The Year at the recently held Nuit-Du-Styliste-African held in Cotonu-Benin on 13-15th September. The Ghanaian fashion brand shone bright with pieces from his old and most recent piece collection dubbed “THE AFRU-IKA”, although stationed in the Ashanti Region of Ghana Tiag Couture has managed to distinguished himself in his outlandish pieces and we can only predict a more brighter prospect for the Tiag Couture that is already catching up with fashion lovers

Kojo Boadi Ghana

Another Designer we are loving is from Kojo Boadi Ghana formally called Deks Couture has really carved a niche for itself in the fashion industry as a new budding designer who has really played with the “AGBADA” syndrome in creating beautiful designs and inculcates a lot of African Prints to his designs, his new collection dubbed “S.H.A.D.E.S” has already become a fashion favorite by many who loves the finished look. We can only expect more from this designer as the years go by

The Deopag Tailored brand by Dennis Opoku Agyarkor is a relatively new brand started in 2016 but has gradually found its way into the hearts of very well discerning fashion enthusiast. The Deopag Tailored design is for that man who loves a pop of color to his outlook and we bet his designs are very unique which has lots of cuts and patterns and the use of African fabrics which gives the brand its uniqueness.
with these new fashion designers taking the fashion industry to a new height when it comes to men’s fashion all we can say is there’s definitely nothing holding men from looking as good as they envision.

Larry Jay Ghana

fast becoming a peoples favorite is androgynous fashion designer Larry Jay whose collections are a mixture of batik and tie & dye has decided to be  giving men a whole variety in choosing what suits their style. Larry plays a lot with fluidity of the dress and its obviously not your average look which sets you apart when in a Larry Jay Outfit and so far the designer  whose inspiration is a mixture of Northern style  and accessories have carefully merged different styles and his AUTUMN/WINTER collection is sure one of our favorite picks from this side of town in 2019.
